On September 4, 2026, Pol. Col. Tawee Sodsong, list-MP and leader of the Prachachat Party, in his capacity as an advisor to the House Committee on Legal Affairs, Justice and Human Rights, accompanied by party executives, visited the family of Dator Nide Waba (Mr. Nide Waba) at Saiburi Islam Wittaya School in Saiburi district, Pattani province. Dator Nide Waba, the founder and administrator of the school, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2026, at the age of 88.
During the visit, the family of Dator Nide Waba, along with school teachers, staff, lecturers from the Bachelor of Education program in Islamic Studies at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus, local sub-district administrative organization mayors, and Mr. Abdulhalim Minsar, Mayor of Taluban Municipality, warmly welcomed the delegation.

Pol. Col. Tawee expressed his deepest condolences and paid tribute to the good deeds of Dator Nide Waba, praising him as a key figure who fostered stability and security in Thailand's southern border provinces throughout his life dedicated to education and community development.
