- Yacademy introduces its largest funding pool to date totaling €400,000 in scholarships.
- Four specialized programs run from November 2026 to February 2027 in Bologna, Italy.
- Guaranteed direct career placement within world-renowned architecture studio networks.

Yacademy is doubling down on its commitment to practical empowerment and human connection by significantly expanding its support infrastructure for the upcoming 2026/2027 academic cycle. Acknowledging that systemic financial barriers often prevent brilliant minds from entering elite networks, the institution is introducing its largest funding pool to date, offering a total of €400,000 in scholarships. This financial momentum is structured to give young spatial designers the academic and practical leverage required to break into the competitive global job market.
The curriculum acts as a direct pipeline from the classroom to real-world practice, covering four core specialized programs:
- Off-site Technologies for Architecture: Trains architects to master the latest industry trends.
- Earth Architecture: Explores sustainable brick design for low-carbon construction.
- Architecture for Exhibition: Equips students to design high-impact cultural and exhibition spaces.
- AI for Urban Regeneration: Applies artificial intelligence to complex urban systems and design.
The immersive experience features special guest lectures by heavyweights in the field, including Kazuyo Sejima (co-founder of SANAA), Nicola Scaranaro (Partner at Foster + Partners), Arne Emerson (Principal at Morphosis), and Giuseppe Zampieri (founder of David Chipperfield Architects Milan). Classes will run from November 2026 to February 2027, available both online and in person at a medieval campus in the historical center of Bologna, complete with on-campus accommodation and live translation in Italian and English.

Integrating direct studio placements into educational frameworks—such as Yacademy's partnerships with firms like Kengo Kuma & Associates, Aires Mateus, and MAD Architects—bridges the gap between academic theory and elite practice. For young designers, gaining direct access to these networks is often the most critical hurdle in building an international career, making institutional funding models increasingly vital for democratizing high-level architectural experience.
Applications remain open until September 4, 2026. A total of 32 scholarships are available across the four specialized programs with 8 scholarships per course—3 covering 90% and 5 covering 50% of the tuition fee, alongside additional funding options for self-funded students ready to elevate their spatial design practice.
