Signal's secure messenger has expanded its capabilities, allowing the application to work seamlessly across multiple mobile devices, including both Android phones and iPhones. Previously, Signal supported linking PCs and iPads, but users were unable to add additional smartphones to their accounts.
By linking an extra device on Signal, users can check and respond to new messages across all linked gadgets simultaneously. Furthermore, the application lets you choose whether or not to transfer an end-to-end encrypted copy of your previous chat history to each newly linked device, mitigating security risks for devices that might be shared, lost, or compromised.
