Turkish club Trabzonspor have officially announced that they have entered into negotiations to sign Mohamed Salah. The 34-year-old Egypt forward became a free agent after parting ways with Liverpool at the conclusion of last season, opening the door for a high-profile move to the Turkish Super Lig.
According to an official statement released by the club, known as the Black Sea Storm, Salah is scheduled to fly into Istanbul on Wednesday. The club added that the player is planned to reach Trabzon in the evening of the same day to finalize the impending transfer.

Salah's tenure at Anfield was nothing short of legendary. Having joined Liverpool from Roma in June 2017, the Egyptian enjoyed a trophy-laden nine-year spell during which he made 442 appearances, scoring 257 goals and providing 120 assists for the Reds.
