The Premier League transfer market has seen a major blockbuster as Arsenal successfully completed the acquisition of Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle United for a hefty fee of 75 million pounds following a breakthrough in negotiations.
The 28-year-old midfielder decided to leave St James' Park for North London, signing a four-year contract with an additional 12-month option. The former Newcastle captain admitted that making this career move was one of the hardest choices he has ever faced.

Earlier in the week, Guimaraes left Newcastle's training camp in La Manga, Spain, to travel to Emirates Stadium and complete the formalities of his transfer. He also revealed that he received welcoming messages from several of his future teammates, including fellow countryman Gabriel and midfield partner Declan Rice.
