At 10:15 AM on August 13, 2026, at Impact Muang Thong Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul gave an interview regarding a shooting incident that occurred inside a Chim Shop Dhim event in Nakhon Ratchasima province. Upon being asked about the incident, the Prime Minister reacted with visible shock, asking "Again?" before shaking his head.
When reporters questioned whether the licensing process for firearm ownership should incorporate psychological evaluations, the Prime Minister stated that the issue requires structural reforms, which are currently underway by the government.
