Pu indicates that the standard iPhone 18 model is projected to increase its RAM capacity from 8GB to 12GB. Alongside the memory bump, the device is expected to receive a redesigned Dynamic Island mirroring the aesthetic of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max slated for release this coming September.

Aside from internal specifications, the release schedule is also seeing a notable shift. The iPhone 18, alongside the iPhone 18e and iPhone Air 2, are anticipated to debut in early 2027 rather than following the traditional September launch window, primarily because the upcoming September Apple Event is packed with numerous hardware announcements, including the introduction of the iPhone Ultra.
