On August 14 at 11:00 AM, a team from the Ruam Jai Thai Party led by MP Boonrawee Yomjinda, who serves as Vice Chairman of the Consumer Protection Committee, alongside Southern Strategy Chairman Pragarn Cheeppittaya, visited Surat Thani province. The objective was to inspect local community enterprises, listen to their challenges, and formulate policy proposals to boost the national economy.
The delegation visited Lung Song Garden in Bang Bai Mai sub-district, Mueang Surat Thani district. Supachat Srithep, the second-generation owner, welcomed the team and showcased native coconut plantations as well as a cold-pressed coconut oil learning center. The site innovates native produce into various goods such as cold-pressed coconut oil, coconut flower wine, serum, and soap. The team also visited the Bang Kluay eco-tourism group and the Bang Chana nipa palm leaf dye textile enterprise in Mueang Surat Thani district.

Boonrawee noted after the field visit that despite abundant natural raw materials and local wisdom, community enterprises still face critical limitations, including:
- Obstacles in packaging development and brand creation.
- Limitations in marketing and distribution channels.
- Difficulties in accessing funding sources, particularly low-interest loans for small operators.
Pushing community enterprise products into the parliament building represents an innovative approach to boost local product visibility by leveraging a political venue as a temporary showcase. However, the long-term challenge remains establishing consistent manufacturing standards and robust supply chain logistics to handle large-scale demand if the products gain national popularity.
"We plan to request space during each House of Representatives meeting to present and sell community enterprise products, expanding markets and connecting provincial, regional, and national levels."
Boonrawee Yomjinda
Pragarn Cheeppittaya added that the southern region possesses great potential and local wisdom that require targeted support. His strategy team will compile all feedback to formulate policies concerning low-interest capital access, standard and packaging improvements, and connecting local products with tourism and larger markets.
