Lamborghini Revuelto SV: V12 flagship supercar debuts

Italian luxury automaker Lamborghini has taken its flagship vehicle to the next level by introducing the track-focused Revuelto SV, carrying forward a storied lineage of high-performance badges.
While many automotive manufacturers focus on minimizing driver distractions to improve safety, Lamborghini embraces a contrasting philosophy aiming to merge the driver completely with the machine under the concept known as the quantum of driving.

Alessandro Farmeschi, product line director for the Revuelto, explained that this concept represents the precise moment a driver enters the vehicle, ignites the engine, and becomes wholly immersed in the adrenaline of acceleration, braking, and G-forces.
The SV, or Superveloce designation, has historically been reserved by Lamborghini for the ultimate, high-performance iterations near the end of a flagship model's lifecycle. Starting with the iconic Miura SV in 1971, this badge has subsequently graced extreme versions of the Diablo, Murciélago, and Aventador, establishing a tradition of extreme engineering upgrades before a generation concludes.
Beneath the aggressive exterior, the Revuelto SV retains its hybrid-electric setup featuring a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine paired with three electric motors, generating a total output of 1,065cv or approximately 1,050 horsepower.

The upgraded powertrain is supported by a revised battery package. While maintaining the same geometry as the standard version, it increases energy capacity by 7.3kWh to ensure more consistent performance delivery during hard driving on a racetrack.
To shed precious weight, extensive carbon fiber is utilized throughout the car's construction, including a redesigned front bumper, door panels, a new rear wing, and lightweight racing seats. These modifications yield a power-to-weight ratio of 1.66 kg/CV, improving upon the standard model's 1.75 kg/CV ratio.
Furthermore, aerodynamic enhancements from the new front bumper and rear wing architecture combine to boost downforce by 80 percent. Coupled with transmission shift times reduced by 30 percent, the Revuelto SV delivers sharper responsiveness and enhanced track capability.
