A touching moment unfolded at Bangkok Railway Station, commonly known as Hua Lamphong, when a high-ranking postal official came forward to express his deep gratitude to the head of government for a life-saving mission from the past.
The incident took place at 1:30 PM on August 15, 2026, at Hua Lamphong station, while Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul arrived to preside over the opening ceremony of the 1st DE Digital Shield Forum, an anti-online scam mobile exhibition.
As the Prime Minister was walking around to visit various exhibition booths, Anucha Chanprom, Assistant Director of the 3rd Metropolitan Postal Office, approached him. He knelt with hands pressed together in a traditional wai and presented a flower garland to the premier.

Anucha revealed to the Prime Minister that he was once a patient awaiting a heart transplant who survived thanks to the historic heart-delivery flight personally piloted or led by Anutin.
"Even though that day had very severe storms, the Prime Minister still flew to deliver the heart to me."

The postal official added that he had been looking for an opportunity to express his gratitude to Mr. Anutin for a long time, and finally had the chance to meet him at this event.
Upon witnessing this emotional gesture, Prime Minister Anutin promptly helped Anucha up, embraced him, and gave him a warm shoulder hug before offering brief advice, telling him to "Take care of your health, don't get sick again."
