A mobile game developed by a creator in Manchester has achieved a remarkable feat by beating the global phenomenon Minecraft to secure the top spot on Apple's paid games chart in the United Kingdom. No 10: Full Confidence focuses on a rather niche and challenging subject matter: British politics and the turbulent environment of Westminster.

Created by Benjamin Brewis, the game puts players in the demanding shoes of the prime minister. Users must navigate through more than 300 handwritten fictional political scenarios. These situations span from everyday governance issues like GP appointment waiting times to bizarre events involving lobbyists releasing dogs into the House of Lords during a veterinary bill.

Gameplay requires users to select one action from three on-screen choices for each dilemma, which can either please or anger four distinct factions: the cabinet, backbenchers, the media, and the public. Much like real political careers, alienating any single group completely will bring an abrupt end to the player's time in office.

Brewis noted that he was inspired to build the app around December 2025 amidst heavy media scrutiny surrounding former Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer. The game mirrors the intense instability of Westminster, where five different individuals have occupied No 10 since 2016, including one tenure lasting a mere 49 days.
