Great Britain's track and field athletes delivered a spectacular finish at the European Championships, claiming five medals within 76 minutes to cap off the first-ever edition hosted in the UK with a total of 19 medals.
Sprint sensation Amy Hunt anchored the mixed 4x100m relay quartet to victory, holding off Germany's challenge on the home straight. The 24-year-old crossed the line in a European record time of 39.97 seconds in front of a sell-out crowd in Birmingham.
This victory added to Hunt's previous triumphs in the 100m, 200m, and women's 4x100m relay over the past seven days, capping an unprecedented four-gold haul.

Meanwhile, Dina Asher-Smith cemented her legacy as the most successful athlete in the competition's 92-year history by securing her seventh gold and 11th overall medal. Alongside teammates Jeremiah Azu and Zharnel Hughes, Britain dominated the sprint events.
