Moscow has issued a stern warning to the United Kingdom, stating that London will face consequences following confirmation that British-manufactured drones were deployed in recent strikes against military and industrial installations deep inside Russian territory. This escalation in the protracted conflict has directly targeted domestic fuel distribution networks within Russia and placed a noticeable dent in the national economy.
Ukrainian forces have significantly ramped up long-range operations targeting the Moscow region and other interior zones, focusing heavily on oil refineries and logistics facilities operated by the prominent online retailer Wildberries. Smoke was captured rising above a Wildberries logistics hub in the Koledino Industrial Park near Podolsk. Regional governor Andrey Vorobyov reported that a 10-year-old girl sustained injuries and a warehouse suffered structural damage amid a massive wave of incoming aerial devices.
A spokesperson for the UK Ministry of Defence responded by emphasizing that the government stands firmly shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine. Additional fatalities were recorded in Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson, while Kyiv endured five separate waves of aerial bombardment overnight.
