Social networking platform Bluesky has revealed that its recent day-long service disruption was caused by a distributed denial-of-service, or DDoS, attack that flooded the website with junk traffic. The social network formally confirmed the security incident through a post published on Monday, addressing the attacks that took place over the preceding 24 hours.
