On August 19, 2026, Mr. Prasit Notah, Member of Parliament for Nan province under the Kla Tham Party, together with the Mayor of Wiang Sa Municipality and relevant officials, visited Wiang Sa district in Nan province to monitor continuous heavy rainfall and check local water levels.
The inspection specifically targeted Ban Lai Nan sub-district, a known risk zone requiring close surveillance to evaluate potential flash floods and prepare prompt assistance for local residents in case of an emergency.
