Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in negotiations with Manchester City regarding a double transfer for forwards Savinho and Omar Marmoush. Sources indicate that discussions between the two clubs are progressing steadily, though an agreement has not yet been finalised.
Spurs' interest in the 22-year-old Brazilian winger Savinho dates back to 2025, when he initially chose to stay at the Etihad Stadium. However, after being limited to just seven Premier League starts last season, the player is now open to leaving the club, having originally joined from French side Troyes for a 30 million pound fee in 2024.

Meanwhile, Omar Marmoush, a 27-year-old forward signed from Eintracht Frankfurt for 59 million pounds in 2025, fell down the pecking order under Pep Guardiola during the 2025-26 campaign, netting 8 goals in 36 appearances across all competitions. While City's valuation for the pair remains undisclosed, the club expects to secure a substantial profit on both players.
Tottenham's aggressive pursuit in the transfer market highlights their urgent need to address goalscoring deficiencies after finishing 17th in the Premier League last term, netting only 48 goals in 38 matches. Although head coach Roberto de Zerbi has already revamped his midfield by investing a combined 185 million pounds in Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali, adding reliable firepower to the frontline is essential for their revival.
Spurs maintain an interest in Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo as well, though financial feasibility remains a question mark if they are to pursue deals for Marmoush and Savinho simultaneously. In contrast, Manchester City have already offloaded several players this summer, including Rodri, midfielder Tijjani Reijnders, and backup goalkeeper James Trafford.
Tottenham will kick off their Premier League campaign away at Brentford on Saturday at 17:30 BST, while Manchester City are set to host Bournemouth on Sunday at 14:00 BST.
