Phe Thai MP Chanawut Declares 227 Million Baht Assets

The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) has publicly released the asset and debt declarations of Mr. Chanawut Uththo, a Member of Parliament for the Pheu Thai Party, upon taking office. He declared his marital status with Ms. Phanrarai Uththo, reporting a combined total of 227,088,557.30 baht in assets and 36,143,674.68 baht in liabilities.

Mr. Chanawut's personal assets accounted for 216,069,481.71 baht, which includes 5,000,000 baht in cash, 5 bank accounts totaling 524,361.69 baht, investments in his buffalo farm business worth 2,137,000 baht, loans provided amounting to 56,400,000 baht, 15 plots of land in Kalasin province valued at 2,513,630 baht, and 6 buildings worth 32,830,284 baht.

Additionally, his declaration lists 5 cars valued at 6,250,000 baht, concessions worth 1,911,206.02 baht, and other valuable assets totaling 108,503,000 baht. His liabilities stood at 36,042,538.04 baht, primarily consisting of overdrafts and bank loans, while his annual income is approximately 3,300,000 baht against annual expenses of 5,390,000 baht.

Meanwhile, his spouse, Ms. Phanrarai Uththo, declared total assets of 11,004,737.15 baht, consisting of 1,000,000 baht in cash, 4 bank accounts totaling 104,436.93 baht, investments in a gold shop worth 1,600,000 baht, 6 plots of land in Kalasin, a building structure, 3 cars and 1 motorcycle worth 1,900,000 baht, other assets worth 3,048,000 baht, and minor overdraft liabilities.
