Phakamon Slams Narucha Over District Chief Exam Statement

On August 21, Mrs. Phakamon Nunanan, a Member of Parliament for the People's Party and Chairperson of the House Committee on Political Development, released a video clip criticizing an official statement regarding the district chief selection examination. She described the action as a severe and irresponsible attempt to dodge accountability, claiming it had nothing to do with the current administration, and condemned both the Ministry of Interior and the Department of Provincial Administration for issuing such a document.

Phakamon further stated that instead of stating that complaints had been received and would be investigated to ensure transparency and public confidence in the examination process, officials chose wording that clearly reflected a refusal to take responsibility. Even though it was claimed to be a press release, the words originated directly from Narucha Khosasanivilai, who should not evade accountability. She compared this logic to remarks made by certain ministers claiming they found no corruption after six months in office, warning that if authorities only tackle immediate issues, citizens will have no one to rely on.

"Narucha issued this document in the name of the department. I am not sure if it is a personal habit of never having to take responsibility, or if he is so confident in having massive connections as a representative of the Thunder Castle that he dared to do this.
