Former PAO President Seksin Vainiyompong, who ran with the backing of the Pheu Thai Party, secured a resounding victory.
The unofficial vote counts for the respective candidates are detailed as follows:
- Candidate No. 1, Mr. Seksin Vainiyompong, earned the trust of local voters with 330,702 votes.
- Candidate No. 2, Mr. Niran Nammuangrak, a former multi-term MP for Roi Et running independently, garnered 75,440 votes.
- Candidate No. 3, Mr. Boonchit Utathapatana, also running as an independent, received 10,025 votes.
