On August 24, 2026, Pol. Col. Thawee Sodsong, a list-MP, leader of the Prachachat Party, and advisor to the House Committee on Legal Affairs, Justice and Human Rights, traveled to the Talouban Municipality office located at 20 Luk Sue Road, Sa Buri District, Pattani Province. The visit aimed to inspect the severe structural damage resulting from a recent bomb attack orchestrated by unidentified perpetrators and to provide moral support to local officials and affected residents facing the security crisis.
During the inspection, Pol. Col. Thawee noted that the municipal office is a source of local pride, as former mayors previously pooled funds to purchase over 70 rai of land to establish public service facilities for the community. He expressed deep regret that hostile actors targeted public infrastructure meant to serve the common good, emphasizing the emotional toll the attack has taken on local residents.

During his visit, Pol. Col. Thawee met with Mayor Alim of Talouban Municipality, acknowledging the local administration's strong determination to promptly repair and restore the damaged premises to full operational status as a testament to government resilience. However, based on his evaluation of the security situation, he argued that the recent wave of unrest exposed operational vulnerabilities and shortcomings within state agencies, noting that the coordinated attacks involved a massive network utilizing between 500 and 1,000 operatives across 51 simultaneous locations.

The Prachachat Party leader criticized security sectors for severely underestimating the threat level and urged relevant authorities to thoroughly review and upgrade intelligence operations.
