The panel included notable figures such as Ms. Siripan Nogsuan สวัสดี, lecturer at the Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University; Mr. Yingcheep Atchanont, Director of Internet Law Reform Dialogue (iLaw); Mr. Sathit Wongnongtoey, Party-list MP for the Democrat Party; Pol. Col. Somyot Sihabua, former candidate from Group 15 in Phuket; Mr. Thongyot Hemhong, former candidate for Senate Group 16 in Phuket; Mr. Somnuek Suchaithanavanich, former candidate for Senate Group 4 in Sukhothai; and Ms. Kusumalawati Sirikomut, reserve Senate candidate.
During the evidence presentation, witnesses described the mechanism of the Senate rigging sheets, noting that former MP candidates were involved in booking flight tickets, arranging hotels, and offering financial incentives prior to the 2024 Senate selection process.

The scrutiny of Thailand's Senatorial selection process is a crucial legal and political issue. Because the 2024 Senate election system is complex—spanning district, provincial, and national levels—the exposure of evidence regarding vote sheets and hired candidates is a focal point. Civil society and the opposition are pushing state agencies to inspect financial trails and digital evidence, such as CCTV footage, to verify the allegations.
Mr. Parit concluded the forum by summarizing the 5 key stages of the alleged Senate rigging scheme based on the gathered data and evidence:
- 1. Planning and dividing teams to seize the Senate before May 2024, utilizing information from multiple witnesses focusing on small provinces with few districts to minimize the required candidate numbers.
- 2. Assigning each team to organize and hire candidates at the district, provincial, and national levels between May and June 2024, supported by data from witnesses and iLaw.
- 3. Gathering and detaining individuals at secret centers to prepare rigging sheets prior to the national-level selection across various provinces.
- 4. Voting strictly according to the designated instruction sheets, with results matching those sheets.
- 5. The orientation session before assuming senatorial duties, where witnesses reported encountering individuals who are currently serving as senators at the venue where the rigging sheets were formulated.
Mr. Parit added that he had inspected the hotel used as the meeting venue for formulating the rigging sheets and found that it is equipped with CCTV cameras, expressing confidence that investigative agencies can access them to verify the facts.
