Coventry City manager Frank Lampard has opened up about his eight-year managerial career, revealing that his tactical approach draws heavily from his former Chelsea bosses Jose Mourinho and Carlo Ancelotti, describing them as two sides of the same coin.
Speaking on BBC Sport's The Football Interview hosted by musician Tom Grennan, the 48-year-old explained how he blends elements from both legendary managers as he targets further success with Coventry following their impressive promotion to the Premier League.
Lampard's managerial journey has featured various chapters, including taking Derby County to the play-off final in 2018, followed by stints in the Premier League with Chelsea and Everton. He took charge at Coventry in November 2024 and successfully steered them back to the top tier after finishing 11 points clear of Ipswich Town last season.
