When reporters questioned the status of proposals to dissolve the local government personnel committee, Anutin responded by asking whether such a dissolution is even legally possible, noting that the committee is established under local administration laws. He stressed that operations must strictly adhere to legal regulations rather than personal preferences, emphasizing that state administration requires adherence to proper rules and statutory frameworks.

Regarding multi-agency coordination, Anutin addressed statements from the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), noting that the NACC serves as the primary agency leading the case and has requested cooperation from various entities to ensure a thorough investigation process.
Cracking down on corruption in local government recruitment is critical for restoring public trust in Thailand's civil service system. The collaborative approach involving anti-corruption bodies, the Department of Special Investigation, and financial intelligence units helps close loopholes, ensuring that suspects cannot escape accountability simply by stepping down from their official posts.
Anutin detailed that the Royal Thai Police and the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) are actively handling criminal proceedings, while the Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO) is tracking financial trails.
