Currently serving as an assistant to Minister Attached to the Prime Minister's Office Pharadorn Prissananantakul, he is expected to step into the role of the new government spokesperson.
Recruiting a former opposition-linked figure like Dr. Ekkaphop to serve as the chief voice of the administration highlights a strategic effort to broaden political outreach. The transition was highlighted during an informal atmosphere at the mobile Cabinet retreat dinner in Songkhla province on the evening of August 31, 2026. During the lively gathering, Ratchada and Dr. Ekkaphop were spotted seated right next to each other.
