Six days after publishing an initial post about cluster security and receiving crucial feedback from community members, the developer has officially released version 1.0 of the tool. Most of the changes implemented between the initial preview and this stable release stemmed directly from those discussion threads.
Attestkeep serves as a validating admission webhook for Kubernetes equipped with an integrated scanner. Every pod creation and update outside of bypass namespaces is evaluated against strict security policies, including tag validation, registry allow-lists, vulnerability thresholds, and workload hardening checks.

Incorporating direct community feedback into core product development highlights the strength of open-source collaboration. Addressing edge cases raised by users ensures that infrastructure tools can handle complex, real-world Kubernetes environments effectively.
