She shared that intense mood swings and emotional outbursts nearly caused family friction, while also bringing personal worries about potential early signs of Alzheimer's disease due to the significant hormonal shifts experienced during this stage of life.
Aside from health transitions, the family also faced major decisions regarding the education of her two daughters, Risha and Lisa. Initially, the family chose an IB-curriculum school that emphasized experiential learning through travel and activities. However, as the children grew older and developed distinct passions in music, art, and sports, the parents decided to shift toward a more academically intensive environment tailored to their individual talents.

Meanwhile, the two sisters display entirely contrasting spending habits. Risha is cautious and thoughtful, carefully considering her purchases before spending money, whereas Lisa tends to spend freely and quickly. Ann jokingly remarked that when drafting a future will, Risha should be appointed to manage the family finances to prevent Lisa from spending everything at once.
