The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has initiated an internal inquiry into discipline and conduct following the latest developments on a turbulent tour of England.
Trailing 2-0 in the three-match Test series, Pakistan recently sent seven players home, called up seven replacements, and substituted head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed with New Zealander Mike Hesson.

During the second Test at Lord's, the touring side also threatened to call off the remainder of the match and the tour over a Sky broadcast featuring an interview with the sons of imprisoned former Pakistan prime minister and captain Imran Khan.
In a statement released on Monday morning, the PCB confirmed that it has started an internal disciplinary review based on media reports, conducted strictly under board regulations to ensure due consideration for all individuals involved.
