The local administrative election race in Nonthaburi province is heating up significantly following the release of a public opinion survey by the National Institute of Development Administration (Nida Poll). The survey gathered data from a total of 1,100 eligible voters aged 18 and above in Nonthaburi province between August 31 and September 2, reflecting voter sentiment and public awareness ahead of the upcoming election day scheduled for September 7, 2026.
According to the survey results, Naraporn Yenprasert from the Phueng Luang Group secured the top spot with 37.27 percent of the support. Meanwhile, Dechrat Sukkumnoed, the candidate representing the People's Party, trailed in second place with 27.55 percent. However, a critical factor that caught the attention of all observers is the substantial proportion of respondents who indicated they were still undecided, accounting for a notable 22.73 percent.

In response to the poll results, Naraporn Yenprasert, who currently leads the survey as the Phueng Luang candidate, emphasized that he will not become complacent. He pointed out that over 22 percent of voters remain undecided and noted that during his campaign trails, some citizens were still unaware of the exact voting date for the Nonthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization presidential election on September 7, 2026.
"There are still another 22% who haven't decided yet. Some people don't even know the election date on Sept. 7, 2026."
