At 11:45 AM on September 10, House Speaker Sophon Sarum informed members of parliament during the deliberation of the 2027 fiscal budget bill regarding the consensus reached by the whips of both political sides.
The Speaker revealed that the opposition would be allocated 6 hours for debate, while the government coalition would manage its time under the coordination of the government whip leader. The entire session is projected to conclude by approximately 7:00 PM on the same day, accompanied by stricter enforcement against repetitive protests.
Regarding meeting discipline, Sophon stated that if any section encounters excessive debate or continuous protests—which had been accommodated over the past three days—it will now fall under the Speaker's discretion to terminate discussions to maintain order.
Furthermore, the House Speaker officially notified members that there will be no parliamentary meeting on Friday, September 11, alongside plans to hold a special one-day meeting session within the following two weeks.
