The regional innovation competition Enterprise Lab: World Student Pitch ASEAN Edition 2026 has officially announced its grand champion. Team Ctrl_A claimed the top honor with YARDS, a Computer Vision AI solution designed to automatically inspect grades and price scrap metal the moment delivery trucks arrive at recycling yards.
This technology was created to address a major bottleneck in the recycling industry, which historically relied heavily on human visual assessment, leading to inconsistencies and pricing errors. Integrating artificial intelligence transforms this process, bringing standardized precision and operational speed to the supply chain.
As the winners, Team Ctrl_A was awarded a total prize pool valued at over 200,000 Baht, alongside air tickets to attend Japan's Largest Venture Summit as high-potential youth representatives.
