- Moddam Kachapa discussed the topic of former abbot Smichot on the GMM25 show Hae.
- She recalled visiting Wat Phutthaisawan in the past to create content for the program.
- She was forewarned that she would fall ill within six months and instructed to perform specific rituals.
- She claimed that burning the sixth sacred talisman immediately led to her suffering from facial paralysis.
During a recent broadcast of the television program Hae on GMM25, hosts Moddam Kachapa, Nott Vorarit, and Bookko Tanutchpan discussed the ongoing news surrounding former abbot Smichot. Moddam shared a personal anecdote from a time when she visited the former abbot at Wat Phutthaisawan.
Moddam recounted that her visit was intended for content creation, following a previous event where famous makeup artist Chatachai Phianaphichat went to apply makeup to a Mae Thorani statue. She noted that the entourage accompanying the trip consisted of wealthy business owners holding billions in assets.
The discussion highlights the intersection of Thai celebrity culture and traditional spiritual figures, a recurring theme in local media where prominent personalities often share personal encounters with revered monks or amulet practitioners before such figures face public scrutiny or legal action.
While visiting the temple, Moddam stated that the former abbot predicted she would fall ill in six months, a prophecy she initially tried to dismiss out of fear. To avert the illness, she was advised to sponsor meals for approximately 80 Buddhist monks.
Furthermore, she was given sacred fabric talismans inscribed with text and sprayed with perfume, with instructions to burn one talisman on the same date every month for a consecutive period of six months. Instead of hosting the monks at home, she chose to make merit at the Priest Hospital, where many ailing monks reside.
"As soon as I burned the sixth sheet, my mouth became crooked right away. How many years ago was that news about my crooked mouth?"

The TV host humorously recalled that the moment she burned the sixth talisman, she experienced facial paralysis. When Nott Vorarit asked about the remaining talismans, Moddam replied that one sheet was still kept by her hair stylist, leading to lighthearted banter among the hosts about whether burning the final piece would attract business customers before closing with the reminder that the individual in question is now facing legal charges.
