Celtic Secure Record Signing Hogh in £11m Deal from Bodo/Glimt

Celtic have completed the record-breaking signing of 25-year-old striker Kasper Hogh from Bodo/Glimt for a reported fee of £11m, making him the Scottish champions' second summer recruit following the arrival of Camilo Duran. The Denmark international has put pen to paper on a four-year contract with the option of a further year.

Hogh's journey to the top has been a gradual climb after coming through the youth ranks at local club Randers. Spells at Hobro, an injury-hit loan at Valur in Iceland, and a transfer to AaB in January 2022 preceded his move to Stabaek, where his career truly took off in the Norwegian Eliteserien.

After securing a permanent transfer to Bodo/Glimt, Hogh finished as their top scorer with 12 goals as they retained the league title, while also netting seven times in the Europa League. He continued his scoring exploits into 2025 with 17 goals, notably scoring a double against Manchester City in the Champions League in January and following it up with a goal against Atletico Madrid a week later.
