The worlds of contemporary art and haute horlogerie merge once again as Swiss watchmaker Hublot teams up with renowned artist Jeff Koons to reimagine iconic sculptures into exceptional timepieces. Officially unveiled on September 16, 2026, this collaboration translates the smooth curves and polished volumes of the artist's famous balloon sculptures into the Classic Fusion Balloon Dog and the intricate MP-14 Origin watches.
The Classic Fusion Balloon Dog stays true to Koons' most recognizable imagery, reshaping the case with rounded, inflated contours. The winding crown mimics a balloon inflation valve, while the hands echo the watch's three-dimensional geometry. Offered in silver, red, and blue editions, the timepiece houses the HUB1710 self-winding movement with a customized oscillating weight, delivering around 50 hours of power reserve, water-resistance up to 50 meters, and an anti-reflective sapphire crystal top.
Meanwhile, the MP-14 Origin by Jeff Koons takes a less literal approach inspired by the creation and expansion of the cosmos. Its 44 mm watch is enclosed within an octagonal transparent sapphire box requiring approximately 534 hours of machining, paired with titanium components. Inside, concentric white-gold rings set with baguette-cut diamonds and blue sapphires totaling 202 stones form orbital layers around a translucent blue sapphire dome inspired by the Gazing Ball series.
