The sixth issue of Edra Magazine draws a parallel between the way light shapes spaces, brings them to life, and alters their atmosphere, and the capacity of furniture to achieve the very same effect. Throughout its history, Italian design brand Edra has utilized light as both an inspiration and a design tool. Materials such as yarns, polycarbonate, crystals, mirrors, and metals within its collections absorb, reflect, and multiply light, directly impacting spatial perception and depth.
Curated editorially by Laura Arrighi with graphic and photographic direction by Stefano Pasqualetti, the volume presents a series of architectural spaces where light and Edra furniture define each setting's character. The publication features contributions from Jacopo Foggini and Francesco Binfaré, alongside essays by Pierluigi Masini, Silvana Annicchiarico, Patrizia Piccinini, Chiara Pasqualetti Johnson, Jasmin Jouhar, and Chiara Tassano.

Publishing a reference-book style publication rather than a typical commercial catalog reflects a strategic approach by high-end design brands. By intertwining furniture with architecture, contemporary art, and critical essays, the brand elevates its status from a commercial manufacturer to an active contributor to architectural culture.
A dedicated section of the magazine features beautifully photographed real spaces, starting with Swarovski Kristallwelten in Wattens, where crystal transforms light inside a modern wunderkammer. It proceeds to Ca' del Bosco, a Franciacorta winery illuminated by glass-bottle radiance, and the Italian Embassy in Berlin, where natural light blends with Edra's contemporary furniture.

- A Brutalist concrete villa in Ibiza overlooking the sea
The issue also revisits Edra's involvement as Official Partner of CONI at Casa Italia Milano Cortina 2026. Furthermore, it highlights the Edra Evening of Honour held on April 23, 2026, at Teatro alla Scala in Milan, dedicated to the Campana Brothers through a performance merging music, dance, and design.
