Dati Labs has launched its monthly newsletter highlighting major updates and internal case studies for the Amazon Quick platform throughout October 2026. The latest edition focuses on three game-changing product updates designed to improve daily productivity and workflow organization.
The Quick Desktop app received a visual and organizational overhaul in October to streamline resource access. Alongside the familiar Feed section, the new Highlights area provides a daily briefing by consolidating scheduled meetings, tasks, and pending action items in one place.
One of the most anticipated additions for Brazilian and international users, including beta support for the Thai language, is now accessible under the Appearance and language tab in Settings, where users can configure language preferences, time zones, and color modes. Additionally, the Customize area centralizes agents, skills, connectors, knowledge bases, and brand kits for recurring corporate presentations.

Regarding licensing changes, AWS announced on October 26, 2026, that all Amazon Quick users with a Reader license will gain access to built-in AI capabilities at no extra cost, starting October 30 through the end of November 2026. Furthermore, AWS waived the monthly infrastructure fee of 250 US dollars for accounts consisting solely of Author and Reader users until March 31, 2027.
Granting AI capabilities to Reader-tier users represents a strategic shift toward democratizing data intelligence across entire organizations. By removing licensing barriers for casual consumers of dashboards, companies can foster a more data-driven culture without incurring substantial software expansion costs.
On the enterprise adoption front, Dati Labs demonstrated practical applications by building internal solutions using Amazon Quick. The HR operations team created an agent named Conecta GP to answer employee questions regarding internal policies, such as benefits, vacation schedules, and certifications, pulling information directly from official HR documentation.
Following its initial rollout, the Conecta GP agent successfully processed 89 messages during its first month in August. To sustain this momentum, Dati Labs established a Champion program to centralize knowledge, support internal users, and provide structured feedback directly to AWS.
