Toyota has unveiled a lineup of five Snowhunter concept vehicles that trade conventional wheels for snow tracks, turning well-known trucks and SUVs into machines built for extreme winter exploration. Presented ahead of the 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, the collection features modified editions of the Tundra, Tacoma, 4Runner, Land Cruiser, and Sequoia, each tailored for distinct winter travel purposes.
Developed by CALTY Design Research in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the Snowhunter family shares a coordinated visual identity. White powder-coated snow tracks replace standard wheels, complemented by custom camouflage graphics, Snowhunter badging, and gloss-black accents. All five models feature auxiliary lighting by Rigid Industries and suspension lift components from Toyota Genuine Parts and Toyota Racing Development (TRD).
The Tundra Snowhunter serves as a mobile basecamp equipped with a TrailLift Pro Rack System to transform its cargo bed into a configurable storage platform. The smaller Tacoma Snowhunter is designed for narrow trails, featuring a roof rack, full-length bed rack with MOLLE panels, and recovery gear.

Meanwhile, the 4Runner Snowhunter pairs rock rails with a Prinsu roof rack and a Thule Pulse 2 cargo box. The Land Cruiser Snowhunter includes underbody skid plates and a Thule SnowPack ski rack for remote terrain. The largest model, the Sequoia Snowhunter, utilizes a TRD front skid plate and a Prinsu roof rack to carry passengers and equipment on extended journeys.
Toyota's SEMA concept lineup highlights the brand's exploration into extreme off-road customization, showcasing how specialized storage, protective gear, and continuous tracks can dramatically alter a vehicle's capability in deep snow environments. Although these prototypes feature components that are not currently available for commercial purchase or public road use, they serve as a creative design study for extreme winter utility.
Toyota will showcase the Snowhunter concepts at the 2026 SEMA Show, taking place from November 3 to 6 in Las Vegas. The automaker confirmed that these are special-project prototypes with no production plans announced at this time.
