Regarding the relief payment status, Chadchart stated that the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration has already disbursed assistance to 95.25% of the targeted recipients, demonstrating continuous efforts by officials to distribute aid as quickly as possible.
Nevertheless, despite the high overall progress rate, approximately 23,000 households are still waiting to receive their compensation funds. City officials are currently accelerating verification and disbursement procedures to complete the process shortly.
The necessity to request an additional mid-year budget indicates that actual expenditures or the number of affected citizens may have exceeded initial projections. Ensuring transparency and speed in delivering funds to the remaining 23,000 households remains a key test for the BMA administration in maintaining public trust.
