At 6:30 PM on August 2, 2026, at Sala Kavinimit (Sala Klang Nam) of Wat Thepsirin Trawat, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul served as the presiding chair for the funeral prayer rites of Police Lieutenant General Phon Palaraksa, the father of Dr. Pakpipi Thavisin, wife of former Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin.
The solemn ceremony was attended by several notable political figures who gathered to pay their respects and offer condolences to the grieving family during this difficult time.
