- Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro retail for $249
- Pro models feature silicone eartips and ANC 2.0 noise cancellation
- Standard models lack silicone eartips, mirroring AirPods 4 design
- Both models include Hi-Res audio and Live Translation features
Samsung is ramping up its competition with Apple by introducing new wireless earbuds that closely match Apple's design, features, and pricing structure. The standard Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 bear a striking resemblance to the Apple AirPods 4, most notably featuring active noise cancellation while completely omitting the traditional in-ear silicone eartips. They also pack Hi-Res audio support, an IP54 water resistance rating, and a Live Translation feature comparable to Apple's system.
Additionally, these earbuds bring improved call quality, swipe and pinch controls, and direct AI query access straight from your ears, with a charging case available in black or white.

Samsung's decision to offer a non-silicone design for the base model while matching Apple's price points highlights an aggressive push for market share among users who prefer open-ear comfort, leaving the sealed in-ear experience strictly for the Pro tier.
Drawing comparisons to the high-end market, the Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro share a clear rivalry with the Apple AirPods Pro 3. Aside from both carrying a $249 price tag, the most defining similarity is the return of the in-ear silicone tip design, which creates an acoustic seal to drastically improve noise cancellation performance.
The Pro variants inherit all features from the base Buds 4 while promising enhanced comfort, upgraded ANC 2.0 noise cancellation, and a superior IP57 water resistance rating capable of handling immersion in water up to 1 meter deep. Crucially, they upgrade to a two-way speaker system, compared to the one-way setup on the standard Buds 4, designed to deliver high-fidelity sound, better frequency separation, and reduced distortion.
