On August 5, Yingcheep Atchanont took to his personal Facebook account to publicly question Senator Dang Kongma from Amnat Charoen province, whose application profile stated she is a pork vendor at Wichitsin Market. This came after Senator Dang initiated legal proceedings against him for alleged defamation in Amnat Charoen. Seizing the opportunity, Yingcheep published crucial documents regarding the appointment of senate operational assistants to demand transparency long before the legal battle reaches the courtroom.
The core investigation centers on the roster and activities of the senator's operational assistants. Documents reveal that Jetphol Bantin, listed as the fifth operational assistant, frequently posted content on social media promoting himself as an assistant to MP Yaneenart Khemaknak from the Bhumjaithai Party instead of performing duties for Senator Dang. Furthermore, Jetphol shares familial ties with Chorthip Bantin, a Group 10 Senate applicant and smoothie vendor from Amnat Charoen, raising serious questions about coordination in the national senate selection process.

This citizen-led investigation into senatorial staff lists and their hidden ties to national political figures highlights ongoing grassroots scrutiny over transparency in Thailand's upper house appointments. By cross-referencing official bureaucratic documents with digital footprints, watchdogs continue to challenge political integrity and governance standards.
Additionally, the fourth operational assistant, Suchart Sihamat, also faced scrutiny as his social media accounts lacked any supportive posts regarding Senator Dang's legislative work. Suspiciously, shortly after public investigations began, these individuals quickly locked down their Facebook accounts and changed their display names, prompting concerns over potential rule violations and hidden activities.
Beyond the assistant controversy, Yingcheep unveiled family network ties, revealing that Senator Dang's son, Saharat Kongma, was appointed as a senate assistant to Somthap Theeraphan, another senator from Amnat Charoen who ran in a group that shared the same lottery draw pool during the national selection. Photographs from Saharat's monk ordination ceremony on June 15, 2022, also featured Suksomruay Wantaneeyakul, currently a Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office, demonstrating established ties prior to the senate race.
The controversy deepened when netizens sent Yingcheep a screenshot of Senator Dang's personal LINE profile bio, which bizarrely described her as an “Election Commissioner.” This prompted Yingcheep to publicly ask whether the senator had ever worked or held affiliations with the Election Commission of Thailand (ECT), calling on local residents of Amnat Charoen to help clear up the confusion.
