- Evolving urban garden mapping into a decentralized robotic ecosystem
- Integrating Arduino sensors and MongoDB for real-time environmental data
- Utilizing Monero and MYZ tokens for automated payments and rewards
- First pilot project scheduled at Parco della Biodiversità in Rimini, Italy
What initially started as a straightforward vision to map urban gardens has expanded significantly over recent weeks. Developers have built a comprehensive decentralized ecosystem connecting IoT sensors, automated robots, and local communities using Monero (XMR) and MYZ tokens.
The project leverages Leaflet.js and a REST API to provide an interactive map where users can register urban gardens. Additionally, Arduino sensors are integrated to monitor soil conditions in real-time. The collected data flows seamlessly through Node.js APIs and is securely stored in MongoDB for analysis and reporting.

Combining privacy-focused cryptocurrencies like Monero with autonomous robotics and IoT networks represents a novel approach to decentralized circular economies. This architecture minimizes intermediaries while safeguarding user privacy within community-driven infrastructure.
Furthermore, the initiative introduces a family of software robots capable of receiving automated payments through an escrow system using MYZ and Monero. The very first pilot deployment will take place at the Parco della Biodiversità in Rimini, featuring 40 new urban gardens equipped with IoT sensors.
