- Krit Sripoomseth reveals that the start of the COVID-19 pandemic brought his entertainment and event company to a standstill, forcing him to part ways with over a hundred employees.
- He decided to say goodbye to the TV industry because he had been in it for so long that he reached a saturation point, knowing every dimension and no longer feeling any excitement.
- He collaborated with A-Time and pioneered the pilot of the 'Chae' show before Moddam Kachapa came on board.
- He shares a deep and close bond with Moddam, to the extent that they used to share a room and travel abroad together constantly.
Krit Sripoomseth looks back at a major turning point in his life during the COVID-19 crisis, which severely impacted his entertainment and event business with a total workforce of over a hundred people. Initially, he thought it was just a temporary situation similar to past political events, but as time dragged into the third month, everything remained at a standstill and various production shows were halted. This forced him to talk with his team and make the decision to part ways first.
Addressing the question many people wonder about—why he vanished from the entertainment industry even though he wasn't forced out—Krit stated that he is someone who sticks with things for a long time, such as his radio work which he did continuously for 10 years. However, after working in television until reaching its peak and doing every role including hosting, selling advertising, and editing with his own in-house team, he grew bored and wanted to find new challenges in life. He admits that there are still moments when he misses the atmosphere of festival events, but as for television work, he feels completely saturated to the absolute limit and never thinks about it again.
The transition from media executive and top-tier host to the food business world with a gelato store reflects the courage to step out of one's comfort zone upon reaching a saturation point, a path chosen by many entrepreneurs during the crisis. Building a business from scratch at an age where one has already achieved a certain level of success requires both high flexibility and exceptional risk management.

Regarding his early entry into the entertainment industry, Krit recounts that he had no intention of becoming a trainee artist at Grammy because he knew very well that his singing voice was not good and it wasn't his path. Instead, he started working at A-Time until he got the opportunity to begin hosting the show 'Chae'. At that time, it was considered a novel format inspired by foreign radio stations that played a lot of music and featured minimal DJ talk. However, P'Chod Saithip firmly believed that listeners preferred hearing people chat, which sparked the creation of 'Chae'.
"Back then, cars had to stop. They literally had to pull over and listen. It was fucking huge."

Krit recalls the atmosphere during the early days of hosting 'Chae' with Moddam Kachapa, noting that Moddam joined later and took on the role of reading entertainment news with a fresh style and live broadcast. This created a massive sensation that made newspapers run stories about it, drew reprimands from various agencies, and resulted in numerous lawsuits. Even within the GMM Grammy building itself, there were internal lawsuits and messy situations that had to be resolved internally.
From those early beginnings to his close relationship with Moddam Kachapa, Krit reveals that the two share an intense bond, having traveled together to foreign countries including China, Russia, and Myanmar, as well as staying in the same room all the time. This aligns with Moddam's own revelations stating that Krit is the man who made 'Moddam' who she is today, and someone who constantly taught her various things—even though when they were together, they used to fight like dogs.
