Yossanan visited various departments at Udon Thani Hospital to inspect medical services and examine an exhibition featuring four major Thai medical innovations. These products are integrated into real-world hospital operations to significantly improve patient care quality through a comprehensive value chain approach.
The four showcased innovations include rubber colostomy bags for colorectal cancer patients, utilizing domestic Thai rubber to lower costs and improve skin adhesion. Additionally, customized 3D-printed titanium cranial implants created from patient CT scans ensure a precise anatomical fit and reduce surgical duration.

For diagnostics and prevention, the hospital introduced an AI chest X-ray system to assist radiologists in screening for conditions such as tuberculosis and pulmonary edema with high precision. Furthermore, the Pertagen pertussis vaccine is administered to pregnant women to transfer immunity safely to newborns.
Deploying home-grown innovations directly in large public hospitals overcomes a major hurdle for Thai entrepreneurs: domestic validation. Once products prove successful locally, gaining international market traction and building global trust becomes significantly more achievable.
