- Connects over 400 public hospitals nationwide including Lampang and Hat Yai hospitals
Muang Thai Life Assurance is stepping up its healthcare services by expanding health insurance claims through the iClaim system across participating public hospitals. This initiative allows policyholders to receive medical treatments without having to pay cash upfront, effectively reducing financial burdens and improving convenience in accessing medical care throughout Thailand.
Mr. Sara Lamsam, Chief Executive Officer of Muang Thai Life Assurance PCL, stated that the company remains committed to being a lifelong partner for customers under the Longevity Economy concept. The firm prioritizes fast and accessible healthcare services while reducing financial pressure, ensuring that medical expenses or upfront cash requirements do not become obstacles during family health emergencies.
Integrating health insurance systems with public hospitals through digital technology marks a major milestone in reducing treatment barriers. Historically, patients often had to pay large sums out-of-pocket and manage reimbursement paperwork later, adding significant stress during critical moments. Incorporating the iClaim system enables direct communication between medical facilities and insurers, eliminating redundant administrative steps.
This partnership covers both outpatient (OPD) and inpatient (IPD) claims within policy coverage limits. White Plai Company, the developer of the digital health insurance claims platform iClaim, strengthens this service by streamlining digital disbursements. Hospitals can now verify rights and coordinate treatment costs and medical documents directly with the insurer, meaning patients no longer need to rely on personal savings, emergency funds, or credit cards to settle medical bills beforehand.

- Roi Et Hospital and Khon Kaen Hospital

“Our goal is not only to make claims faster, but to make policyholders feel that utilizing health insurance is effortless on the day they need help the most.”

Dr. Sophon Mekthon, Chairman of White Plai Company in his capacity as a Social Enterprise, noted that this collaboration helps citizens access public hospital services and Premium Clinics more conveniently. By leveraging digital technology, the partnership minimizes procedural steps and ensures swift coordination, fulfilling the objective of simplifying health insurance claims.
In addition to the iClaim network, Muang Thai Life maintains cashless claim connections with numerous public hospitals, medical schools, and the MTL Smile Hospital Network, including Siriraj Hospital, Chulalongkorn Hospital, Ramathibodi Hospital, and state Premium Clinics like Vajira Phuket Hospital and Rajavithi Hospital.
