The controversy initially sparked when Khanom made remarks expressing intense frustration regarding child affection, alongside mentioning an issue with strong perfume scents inside a vehicle. In response, Kru Toey and Nong Nam addressed the allegations via a live stream, firmly denying any intentional outbursts, forced tears, or coerced apologies. Regarding the perfume incident, Kru Toey explained that Nong Nam felt guilty for spraying it inside the car and quickly rolled down the windows, which subsequently triggered widespread public criticism.

In her lengthy statement, Khanom reflected on her perspective as a mother, stating: "I forgot to think that the first thing I should have done was address the fact that my child threw up. I focused entirely on my child's feelings and my perspective as a mother, forgetting that vomit has a strong odor and it is difficult for non-parents to truly understand." She candidly acknowledged that speaking harshly and judging the situation purely through maternal emotions was entirely her mistake.
"Whatever I have done, I always take responsibility. If it's wrong, it's wrong with no excuses. As for the rest moving forward, I have already made my decision."
