- Data center revenue more than doubled to over $89 billion
- The company forecasts $108 billion in revenue for the upcoming quarter
The global chip market is witnessing historic milestones as Nvidia rapidly approaches the threshold of generating one hundred billion dollars in a single quarter. According to the company's latest earnings report, total revenue reached an unprecedented $96.2 billion, marking an increase of over $10 billion compared to the previous quarter.
This massive financial growth is heavily driven by the booming demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure worldwide, with the company's data center division serving as the primary engine behind the record-breaking numbers.

Nvidia reported that its data center revenue alone more than doubled year-over-year to a record-shattering $89 billion. Consequently, the company's overall profits also more than doubled, reaching $59.7 billion for the period.
Meanwhile, the edge computing category, which incorporates the consumer gaming sector, brought in $7.2 billion. While this represents a 27 percent increase year-over-year, Nvidia noted that consumer PC sales experienced a slowdown tempered by elevated memory and systems component prices.
Nvidia reaching the hundred-billion-dollar quarterly milestone places it alongside tech giants like Amazon, Apple, and Alphabet, highlighting how AI infrastructure has fundamentally transformed the technology sector. However, persistent component shortages and warnings of upcoming price hikes for AI chips indicate that hardware cost pressures remain a significant factor across the industry.
Looking ahead, Nvidia anticipates pulling in $108 billion in revenue within the next few months, which would firmly cement its status among the elite group of corporations achieving nine-figure quarterly milestones.
