Tao Yaong, a popular Thai performer, shared the story of his journey into the entertainment industry, starting as a dancer for the traditional Thai folk troupe Reablap Vataศิลป์ at the age of 15. Now at 22 years old, he recalled that during his early days in the troupe, he felt immense pressure because he did not know how to dance and was naturally quiet, rarely interacting with strangers, which led some people to mistakenly think he was arrogant.
His entry into the industry began when his older brother was already working in the troupe. Having just graduated from ninth grade, he decided to join to help ease his family's financial burden rather than staying home and depending on his parents. Despite having to practice more than 30 songs every day for the first two months, which made him want to give up many times, he persevered.
The origin of his nickname, Tao Yaong, comes from a time when fans used to call artists Nook and Pai 'Tao Wan'. People then started calling him Tao Yaong. Although he was not used to the name at first, frequent usage made it grow on him, and it has remained his well-known moniker ever since.

Traditional folk music troupes in Thailand have evolved into large-scale entertainment enterprises with massive fan followings. Working with the troupe leader, Papa Ae, involves strict discipline. Tao Yaong described him as very strict, noting that his mood can completely change when things do not go as planned. The troupe has strict rules, including a total ban on alcohol and a strict policy against falling off the stage. Papa Ae also provides life lessons, particularly regarding financial management, as Tao Yaong admits to being prone to online shopping and overspending.
"Papa Ae gave me 100,000 baht, and in less than 15 days, 70,000 baht was gone on food and treating friends. I was confused as to how I could earn this much and ended up spending extravagantly."

A major turning point regarding his finances occurred when he returned home during his youth to hang out with friends, a social life he had missed out on due to working from a young age. After receiving 100,000 baht from Papa Ae, he spent 70,000 baht in under 15 days on food and gatherings, making him realize his reckless spending habits.
Regarding his title as the young boss, Tao Yaong clarified that it does not mean he handles heavy backend work or financial management. Instead, his main duty is to act as a communicator when other members or friends in the troupe are too hesitant to speak directly with Papa Ae, helping bridge the gap by relaying messages for consideration.
