The House of Representatives' ad-hoc committee tasked with reviewing the fiscal year 2027 budget bill has wrapped up its final deliberations, paving the way for the legislative assembly to debate the draft in its upcoming readings.
Speaking at the parliament building on August 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM, Korrawit Pisasananontakul, MP for Ang Thong province from the Bhumjaithai Party and spokesperson for the committee, announced the final outcomes of the panel's rigorous review process.

According to Korrawit, the committee convened for a total of 35 days to examine all allocations thoroughly. The final fiscal framework for the year was set at 3.788 trillion baht, with adjustments made to reduce and reallocate funds across various government agencies, except for sections 36, 40, and 41 which remained unchanged.
"We have reviewed and summarized the overall picture, including voting on individual sections. In summary, our ad-hoc committee met for a total of 35 days with a total budget amount this year of 3.788 trillion baht."
Looking ahead, the House of Representatives will spend the upcoming week preparing the necessary documentation for MPs ahead of the second and third readings. The parliamentary debates are projected to take place from September 7 to September 9, 2026.
