Law enforcement authorities in Switzerland have launched a massive manhunt following a fatal shooting at a techno rave held at a horse racing track in Aarau, located approximately 46 kilometers west of Zurich. The violent incident has sent shockwaves through the local community and the electronic music scene.
Police confirmed that a 22-year-old woman died at the scene from her injuries. Five other individuals—comprising four men and one woman aged between 24 and 27—were hospitalized with injuries ranging from minor to severe conditions.

Organizers and performing DJs stated that the gunfire erupted around 02:30 local time, shortly after a DJ set concluded. The event had anticipated up to 3,500 attendees, prompting police to appeal for witnesses to submit any photographs or video footage captured at the venue.
Authorities cordoned off the area surrounding the racing track, public swimming pool, and sports field, urging citizens to stay away. The Aargau Cantonal Police deployed heavily armed officers across highways up to 30 kilometers away from the site as a precautionary measure.
