JMGO has officially rolled out its latest all-in-one projector, the Iris Ultra Max, for markets outside of China, targeting gamers and sports enthusiasts with high-end projection capabilities and a powerful triple-laser light engine.
The standout hardware feature is a new dual-iris system designed to tackle historical contrast challenges in projection technology. By placing two separate physical apertures along different points of the internal optical path, the device aggressively controls light scatter to achieve a native contrast of 10,000:1, while pushing a bright 6,500 ISO lumen image output.

To accommodate fast-paced gaming and sports broadcasts, the projector supports 4K resolution at a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. JMGO has also included Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) support, alongside Dolby Vision HDR compatibility at 4K 120Hz.
Implementing a dual-optical aperture system addresses one of the most stubborn limitations of high-lumen laser projectors: maintaining deep black levels while maximizing brightness. By staggering the physical irises internally, manufacturers can significantly suppress stray light before it hits the screen, boosting perceived dynamic range without relying solely on software processing.
Hardware flexibility is further enhanced by a motorized pan-and-tilt gimbal mount controllable via a Wiimote-like interface. Combined with an 0.88–1.7:1 optical zoom and lens shift capabilities of V±130% and H±53%, users gain considerable placement freedom without sacrificing native optical clarity.
The Iris Ultra Max carries a standard retail price of $3,499, which drops to $2,999 for preorders starting today ahead of its scheduled October 19 shipping date.
